Patch is backed with an iron on coating primarily to seal the back stitches to the foundation. If you iron this patch on, I recommend also stitching it down. You can also iron it onto Velcro to make it interchangeable with other attire.

This is a finished patch for the US Navy VFA-34 Fighter Squadron home based at NAS Oceana in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
Patch is backed with a sealed coating to seal the back stitches to the foundation. This is a sew on Patch. I have prewashed the foundation material so this will not shrink from washing. The thread used is high end 100% polyester embroidery thread that will not fade and has a beautiful shiny luster.
The patch is roughly 5 x 5 inches
